Mr. David N. L. Guat is currently the General Manager of the Ghana Co-operative Pharmacists’ Credit Union Limited (GCPCUL). He is also the Proprietor of the G&G Paralegal and General Business Solutions, an ADR Centre and a Paralegal Services Entity in Ghana, located in Tema. He is a listed Mediator and Arbitrator of the National Labour Commission (NCL), Member in Good standing of the Ghana National Association of ADR Practitioners (GNAAP). His working experience has revolved around Teaching and Banking, with special emphasis on Microfinance. Mr. Guat has spent over twenty-four (24) years in the Microfinance Sector, mostly with Credit Union Development and Management, where he played a role in building the new Credit Union Business Model in Ghana. Mr. Guat holds a BSc. Degree in Administration (Banking and Finance option) and an EMBA (Finance) from the University of Ghana Business School. He also holds a post-Degree Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the GIMPA Law School, and Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Ghana School of Law. He holds a post-Graduate Certificate in Microfinance & Credit Union Management from the Stratmore University – Nairobi, Kenya. He is a certified Credit Union Manager by the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) and holds a (MCP) from WOCCU. He also holds a Professional Executive Certificate in ADR (PECADR) from the Institute of Paralegal Training & Leadership Studies (IPLS).
